While I agree with what you’re saying, in this case it was less about making it look realistic, and more about her swelling up. She’s basically ballooning up due to a severe allergy. Ultimately blowing up.

Usually face prosthetics come across as cartoony or too over don’t fit the body type they are going for. But just looking at this pic, it seems pretty decent.

So apparently in the new movie Gringo, Thandie Newton dons a fat suit at some point towards the end of the film. Haven’t seen it so I have no idea how it looks. Anybody have a chance to catch the new flick?

Pretty sure everything I read on this movie was she's just playing Anna Kendrick in Christmas clothing, nothing with prosthetics. She'll still be adorable, but when I first heard of this movie it made me wish the holiday remake craze would cause someone to redo The Santa Clause, but with a woman.

I know I'm guilty of never contributing to this thread, and just waiting for others to. So here's something I don't recall ever seeing here. It's a pilot that wasn't picked up by NBC (I believe) about a heavier woman deciding to make some changes in her life. The suit isn't bad. And it seemed like they were going to have more flashbacks throughout the show. It was called Ellen More or Less. Trailer: https://vimeo.com/93108680
