  1. The motoring market is somewhat different over here in the UK Mind you, the other half would love a Mustang of pretty much any description ;D Didn't even mean to get into the whole Fiat thing and I've ended up having 3 in a row over 10 years in various states of tune
  2. yeah, 90s Fiat Coupe, non-turbo so only 147hp but still decent torque from the 5-cylinder Outside designed by the same guy who did a lot of recent BMWs like the last gen Z4 and interior by Pininfarina despite the outside badge implying they did the whole car. Earlier versions had the same 4-cylinder the Lancia Integrate used to run but the 5 sounds nicer. Think 80s Audi rally car Was a cheap buy and been fairly reliable considering the rep. X1/9s, I see them at shows but yeah, not exactly reliable. A lot of folk do engine transplants on them to get a 1.4 turbo
  3. Like where this is going and all the detail stuff Wanting to get something from the land of the rising sun too, probably something more modern - leaning towards Hondas really and the VTEC (yo) of an EP3, DC2 or an S2000. I've always wanted an S2k but the budget doesn't quite stretch to one at the moment. Do love the older generations of Jap stuff though... Currently though I keep "accidentally" buying Italian stuff like my current daily, which is attached. Saving for a holiday means it's been somewhat neglected recently :-\ Still though, the in-line 5 makes travelling to and from work an experience
  4. Yeah, was right up there in the top...erm...20 I think. Should've screencapped it at the time for posterity I remember when the posts in Chit Chat were made not to count as there were folk getting a large proportion of their post count from there. I think I may well have been one of them lol Combinations of the single life and living alone lent itself to a greater internet presence in those days. Things have changed somewhat in the years that followed but I still view this place as a lot more than a fap site. Well, more than a fap site. Kind of ;D Glad you're still part of it btw
  5. Looking at this really takes me back, even remember my early FatCelebs user name of Gimpoid1 (don't ask). I honestly didn't really remember the specifics of how everything came about in those early days but I just remember starting to post and enjoying the conversations and such as well as loving the fact of finding others who had similar interests I had - I didn't feel (quite) as strange anymore ;D I do still vaguely remember Yahoo Clubs and Groups, had my own even...Gaining Celebs. Basically stuff I'd nicked from loads of other sources. But yeah, as I said in my re-introduction type post thing, I'm glad this place is still around even if I've been a bit of an arse these past few years and neglected in the action of actually posting : And yeah, I thought I'd post a proper throw back of a Weebl & Bob sig I'd made back in my early days (file info dates it as 2006) before I became Shatner resistant and laughed at Chekov when I said I liked my ladies curvy ;D
  6. My whole internet posting style has been reduced loads over the last few years but I thought I'd break the shackles of lurkerdom and post something at least. Felt I kind of just gave up on it and didn't give anyone an explanation despite the fact I was a mod, which is kind of a crap thing for me to have done :-\ Seeing one of my KC morphs in another thread prompted me I think though from memory, I recall my one and only Samantha Armytage morph was shown in a thread somewhere as well Good to hear I'm still remembered Might take a while to become one of the top posters again though lol Anyway, thanks for the welcomes back both of you
  7. Well, it's been a fair few years since I last bothered to post - I kind of just...erm...stopped way back when : I would've resumed my old name but it was kind of taken. However, I kind of felt my new pseudonym was appropriate ;D I used to be a rather active member of the forum and my lineage stretches back to the old FatCelebs days. Things have changed dramatically since those days of yore and as such, I won't be resorting back to my posting status of old but I thought I may as well put something up rather than just...appear Just nice to see that though the site has went through numerous hands (steady) and a few different incarnations and structures, it's still around and many of the names are still recognisable I have my DA account, which some may know... http://gimpoid1.deviantart.com/ And, well, my old sig is attached
