Before Season 2, comparison photos at her skinniest... BEFORE: Earliest appearance at the opening of Season 2, Episode 1: Season 2, Episode 2: Season 2, Episode 5: Season 2: Episode 8: AFTER: Season 6, Episode 12: Season 6, Episode 13: Season 6, Episode 14: Season 6, Episode 15: Also, interesting to note that because they're trying to make the show seem natural, your actors and actresses need to have purpose when entering a room so it's not this awkward affair of everyone standing in one room for no reason - so while some characters sit at the table, or put away dishes, Amanda's character is constantly opening the fridge and grabbing something to eat. It adds an unintentional depth to her character when she always seems to be snacking, steadily gaining weight over time. I almost wouldn't be shocked if the director is an FA and is doing this to purposefully fatten this actress. To be fair, what's the first thing at least half of all people do when they walk into their home? Straight to the fridge/pantry! It's probably half the reason we're all getting so fat! Super awesome gain, though! Dramatic weight gain among TV actresses is growing more commonplace, it seems. Maybe my memory is faulty, but a handful of years ago I never could have imagined a lead actress putting on as much weight as Emily Deschanel has, for another example. It used to be an actress would start putting on a little weight and then promptly lose it. I took the liberty to lighten up a couple of your screenshots, since they were all pretty dark. At least gives more of a glimpse of that belly, which can no longer be contained!
