Hi everybody, I would love to hear from anyone who has become fascinated by more and more weight and how much you think the media and on line experience have helped or hindered your fascination with fat.

We've seen on line confessions of feedees ("the bigger I get, the bigger I want to get") and the experiences of FA's who used to be thrilled with "micro gains" on an SO now craving hugeness.

Also, how much of that is realistic?

300 pounds in a pic looks much smaller and not as heavy as RL.

There may be a thread on this, so my apologies.

Would love to hear from folks on both sides of FAism who find they can't get enough.

I can  relate.

I mean, I think I've always had multiple different body types that I found attractive. (I'm a sucker for an "exotic" look, for example -- even with some fairly slender women. And I have a thing for female bodybuilders too.) But I always liked a "thick, curvy" look. And as I've gotten older, I find much bigger women a turn-on than I used to.

Right now though, when I put aside the temporary, "fetishy" turn-ons of a woman showing she gained  more weight (no matter WHAT her previous size)? I'd say that I still don't *really* have a serious attraction to the really "super sized" gals. And that's not because of their weight itself. (I actually find it sexy when a woman weighs a lot more than you'd guess she does, even if she's clearly pretty heavy. Heavy enough to break my furniture just means she helps me weed out the poor quality stuff! Hehe.) It's just that so far, the few times I've seen women who weigh as much as, say, 500lbs.? Their body shape doesn't do anything for me. (There's a point I think that gets reached where you just lose your curves, and instead just get really big around the middle.)

But I've definitely seen a few gals on the net, as well as in real life, who are upwards of 400lbs. and still have an amazing figure with massive thighs, big muscular calves, a big belly but a huge chest that sticks out just as far, big booty, etc.

And I guess it's kind of a side note or comment ... but I'm pondering, lately, if belly shape has a lot to do with weight, too?  Because one thing I've noticed is that a lot of women may grow a big, round belly (very popular look on these types of web sites!), yet it really doesn't get their weight up nearly as much as you'd think. Especially a shorter girl can have a big, hanging belly and might not even weigh much more than 200-220lbs. or so. On the other hand, the women I've known who have that "belly stack" or "beehive belly" as I used to affectionately call it, with multiple rolls? It seems like a more efficient way to carry belly mass. It used to not even really be a "look" I cared much for -- but I'm starting to appreciate how weight gain seems to go into each of 3 or 4 belly rolls simultaneously. So you hardly notice if they put on more weight, except for them complaining some outfit or other fits too tight ... and then they get on a scale and have it almost bottomed out.

that is a very good topic of conversation. first of all, first i had no idea, because when you see a woman you're really attracted to the curves and to what is easy to see, fat, belly, love handles, cellulite, softness and so on. so the weight is just really a number that goes in hand. nowadays after getting more into it i guess every woman over 200lbs get my immediate attention. and from that up it depends a lot on the shape, i prefer a woman carrying more on her bottom half, legs, hips, butt, to have some resemblance of waist and so on. but, for every curve there is a man who likes it im sure.

I echo most of what tw71 said above. I find a lot of kinds of women attractive, but definitely none more so than BBWs. I agree that for the most part there can be a point where the shapeless nature of a heavier woman becomes not necessarily a turn-off, but not quite as attractive to me. Having said that, if I've had a drink, my 'extreme' thoughts take over, and I'll tend to look at porn featuring bigger and bigger women. My GF is currently around 270lbs I guess, and is just beginning to head into territory that would start to get a lot of people excited. I think I'm happy with her as she is as I can see her shape becoming 'round' - tw71 also hit the nail on the head with the belly rolls comment - I think this looks far more attractive. Indeed, I don't know what weight Mary BoBerry is at the moment, but she's got shape, massive, dimply legs, and not a huge double chin (one of the surprising turn-offs for me, and the thing I dislike most seeing as my GF gets bigger).

So, I think heavier can be better, as long as shape is still visible. In terms of the original question, and how the media has helped or hindered, I'd say that in the UK at least, it has become marginally more acceptable to not be stick-thin, but there's still a strong leaning towards shaming bigger bodies. It's definitely not as bad as it used to be though, so it's made it easier and more comfortable for me to be seen out with my GF. And as for porn? I know that's not a real measure, but I'd say that BBW porn has championed BBWs looking really nice in clothing and make-up etc, and actually shown them being more active, more normal, rather than just laying motionless on a bed. That's made a huge difference to me. And I totally realise how stupid that sounds because porn isn't real-life!
