Ember Rose Weigh In 4 Not Playing

Hi,

I've just picked up the latest #4 weigh in vid but it's either not playing or only playing the audio depending on the device I try to play it on (iPhone/iPad/PC).

Is this similar to the issue Dr Feeder posted about further down this page about a previous vid, as I note the format of the most recent weigh in is in MOV not MP4?

Is it possible to get this in MP4 format?

Hi 

yes, mov files don’t play so well on PC

Ive made the model aware.  We will get the conversion to Mp4 going and post the update once it’s ready.

Another heads up but I just noticed on the description for Lily's new one, that this is also currently a MOV format. 😬

It’s weird within the mov format there seems to be different ways to encode. For example Shar uses mov and nobody has any issues. 

I am not a video format and codec expert so I can’t explain why this is the case.

Yeah, oddly enough Lily's vids play fine, but Ember's one didn't. It's not something to do with the tech used for the recording?

Maybe something to do with the different software used between cameras, Android, Apple devices etc.
