Griigor
It's a cookie-cutter, politically correct checklist of a sitcom, and while Sofia Vergara is incredibly hot, I doubt that there will be any visual weight gain with only the dress being an indicator. maltesefalcon
As much as we would all like it, its pretty impractical to have an actress gain significant weight for a single tv episode. Unlike a film, where have time to gain and lose, they have to film each episode a few days later.

I mean does it take itself very serious and is usually pretty realistic or could a sudden 100 pound weight gain be a possibility in the atmosphere of the show? Anyways good find, will keep my eyes out. I guarantee you they will chose a dress to simply make her existing body look fatter, not the other way around. nonamenoname
I have searched everywhere I could think of to find this episode but the series just doesn't seem to be available out there. The show is called For Your Love and in the 4th season the 8th episode is called The Second Big Breakup. In it, there is a dream sequence where Holly Robinson Peete gets really fat. The video below is the only copy I could find. You can see that the fat suit is actually really good. Thought I would post this in case anyone else may have luck in finding a better quality. dania201
Even though it's low budget, it's like they've actually looked at a fat woman before. Nice find!!

"Instead of always sticking the actress — who plays sober mom Jill Kendall — behind a table or a couch, the writers incorporated her weight gain into an organic story about overeating." It's supposedly not to be just played for laughs but an look at how some one with a history of past addictions turns to food to cope with a loss. The suit doesn't look bad either. okamialpha
She was in about 3 scenes, the fat suit was pretty good actually but her body was way too covered up. No actual gaining scenes but she'll be in a few more eps before they ship her off because of her pregnancy.
Guest Ms. LovelyMeow
Here's the scenes from tonight's episode along with a bit of context from last season - pretty solid fat suit all things considered. I can see them using this as a character arc for the next few episodes, so that should be good.
Morbiose
It looks really good, but even for the amount of weight supposedly gained, it seems a little... neck-heavy?

Dang that sucks. I thought they would have worked it into the storyline but seems like it’s being a minor part. Also the last episode she was sitting the whole time so they could have just hidden the baby bump like some shows do seems like a waste of a fat suit and makeup
Guest Ms. LovelyMeow
Watched, edited, and published to YouTube. For what it's worth it's a fantastic fat suit, and on the bright side, at least they're stringing along the continuity. There's a good line at 1:18 when Jill says, "When I was at rehab I spent every morning slicing up cucumbers for the spa water.", only to have the mother return with an under-the-breath "Hasn't seen many cucumbers lately..." okamialpha
Like it really is a great fat suit but I really doubt that they're gonna do more than this sit and eat and quip shtick. Plus she only has a few more episodes until the actress took off for maternity leave and returns in the january episodes.
Guest Ms. LovelyMeow
The 4th episode has this for a synopsis, "the women rally around Jill after she has a breakdown in her favorite department store", so we'll get her out of the diner. There's going to be some standing scenes at least, along with the predictable 'NOTHING FITS' montage that we all know is coming... I'd wager that since Jill's description is the B Storyline here, we're going to get 'a-very-special-episode' about Jill's weight gain.

John Smith
A quite irrealistic fat suit though: the proportions of her hands didn't fit with the padded costume so the scene get immediatly annoying, then... well, with the way the mask puff out her face, I think she must be a little more overdevelopped, proportionally speaking. I'm actually like: "no. Just no..." .
Morbiose
Yeah, like I said, she's got the neck + chin of someone 30 to 40 pounds heavier. Which is odd, because it's still a really good neck, it's just not appropriate here. It, and William Fichtner, deserve better.
Guest Ms. LovelyMeow
Some standing shots at last, and a few scenes taking away from the diner table, we're an episode away from what I believe will cap off the character arc with more focus on Jill's weight gain, after that they'll probably go for a hiatus on her character and she'll return later on back to her thin self:
Morbiose
This is an aborted web series for kids and thus not high in production values at all, but Cherry is pretty cute and, I think, sells the moment as best she can. Plus, Thanksgiving, and goodness knows we need all the seasonally appropriate content we can get. WeeklyDosage, Karl90 and saturn52

Eugh, how can people even watch these type of shows? It's like calling a murder mystery novella, "The man who was murdered by the kindly old butler introduced in chapter 4". Anyways, enjoy the final arc of Jill's Weight Gain! There's a considerable amount of talk about her size this episode, which is great:
