Cholesterol is naturally made by the body. That is why when you eat animal products you will take in cholesterol. Carbs do not contain cholesterol, but can stimulate the body to create it.
If you are eating an excess of carbs(which I am guessing you are doing), your body will naturally have your liver make more cholesterol. If you eat too much meat you will just accumulate cholesterol as well. The only way to make sure that you have a healthy cholesterol is to either not have a horrible diet, or to get most of your calories from foods that are high in fibers and from vegetables.
With the gaining lifestyle it will be hard to try and keep a health cholesterol, unless you exercise and limit the meat and carbs. Good luck!
Hopefully this information is correct. Im just a bio major hoping to become a MD some day.
