Today, my text editor:
was gone all of sudden. I'm using Firefox and tried MS Edge instead which worked just fine.
If anyone else experiences this problem, try clearing the cache of FF: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache. That should do the trick.
For me it only worked after restarting my computer, but I'm fairly sure that isn't necessarily needed to solve the problem.
