I'm actually larger then your girlfriend, I'm almost 300lbs and I feel like this is a weight I am comfortable with but I do not wish to gain much more.

I did. I have always had a love for food but this last year in particular I have been single and felt no pressure to watch what I eat and have easily gained 30 lbs

I don't think you making her feel good is discouraging her to not lose, she was probably wanting to lose because she was not comfortable with the way she looked but if you were able to give her confidence in her body that is a wonderful thing to do. I am the same way not trying to intentionally lose or gain but just indulging when I want and being happy with who I am. It's very empowering actually.

I think its amazing that you are supporting her choices and understanding of why she is making them. My whole life I am used to being with guys who either want me to gain or lose to suite their desires but it's nice to know that FA exist who respect a woman's choice in what she does with her body.
