The reason is that it really does inspire a visceral reaction from some people, like disturbs people more than just "oh how annoying." Yeah, hiding threads would be a good idea, also some peoples profile pictures disturb me too. The fact I constantly see it dotted around the site really puts me off on an annoyingly regular basis.

Hello! I was wondering if there is a way to hide all profile pictures across the site. Sometimes people have profile pictures that I just personally don't like to see, even though they're not in violation of any rules, and they annoy me. I know if I ignore peoples posts, I don't see them, but you see still them on the main forum pages if they're the most recent poster on a thread, and also their names along with their profile picture in the ignore list, but I'd not mind that if they at least didn't appear on the main forum pages. If there was a way just to turn off everyone's, it would probably be the best for me.
